Moving Science?
Moving Science makes learning STEM fun, accessible, captivating and imaginative.
It utilises the arts to encourage cross curricular learning whilst breaking down language barriers students face when accessing; Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths (STEM).
Our Aims
Use the Arts as a platform to engage students who have relatively little affinity to STEM
Encourage teachers to continue cross-curricular learning as a pathway to STEM
Strengthen students’ communication, creative thinking and social skills
Celebrate diversity within education and provide a creative platform for students to share ideas.
Why work with us?
FLUX was founded in 2012, it is a dance-theatre company that specialises in scientific public engagement. Their Educational Outreach has been formed in response to government initiatives to increase the amount of students studying STEM subjects in further and higher education. Their work has been endorsed by some of the UK's leading scientific institutions and supported by researchers, teachers and parents alike. It is at the forefront of 'STEAM' education and has been recognised by The British Science Association as an outstanding teaching practice.

Celebrating the Arts in Education
For the new academic year, I wanted to bring something new and exciting to the table. Something that would link the local community, support the curriculum, celebrate diversity and creative education.
